SUMMER 2012!

Wahoo!  Summer is here again and we have some fun things planned.  Our Calendar has been updated with all kinds of fun! (Make sure to check out July and August calendars) We have tried to keep things simple this year.  On the calendar we have a few outings we have planned, cooking clubs, arts in the park, family fun nights and other fun things going on around Eugene.  Here is a quick peek at what we have on the calendar.

We have planned five fun outings.  Come to all of them or pick and choose the ones that will fit into your schedule!  Here is a list with dates.

7/13/12     Fern Ridge Fun
7/20/12     Coast Trip
8/3/12       Autzen Stadium Tour (pending)
8/10/12     Lake Cleawox
8/17/12     Pavilion Party

A lot of the activities on the calendar come from the City of Eugene Fun for All Summer Resource Guide.  Because we live on the West side we have focused on the activities that take place at State Street Park, Petersen Barn and Bethel Community Park.  There are lots of other events planned at other parks and we would recommend checking out the Summer Resource Guide.  We will be posting clips form the Summer Resource Guide on the side bar for those of you that don’t have access to one.

Cooking Club is back again!  Thanks to everyone that hosted last year!  If you missed last year and want to host one, we still have a few spots open to fill.  Let us know if you are interested in hosting.  Here is the schedule for cooking club.

Jr. Cooking Club: Ages 8 and under
7/9/12     Hosting: Tami Wilcox
